WHO: Those who want to support Ride-A-Rescue and their mission to rescue, rehabilitate and care for horses in need.
WHAT: A day of fun winter festivities including trail rides, pony rides, photo booths, bonfire s'mores, music yard games, make your own ornaments and/or wreaths, holiday movie showing and more!
WHEN: Saturday, December 14th from 11am - 8pm
WHERE: 100 High Meadow Pkwy, Radford VA
WHY: This is our first ever winter fundraising event that is designed to help sustain all our rescue horses and community programs throughout the winter months!

Paint Night Fundraising and beer tasting

WHO: Those who want to support Ride-A-Rescue and their annual goal of raising money for the American Heart Association!
WHAT: A step-by-step instructed paint night hosted by Amanda Graham (a local high school art teacher) and her honors students. WHEN: August 29th at 6:30 p.m. and doors open at 6:00 p.m. WHERE: Sinkland Farms, 3020 Riner Rd, Christiansburg, VA 24073 WHY: Every year Ride-A-Rescue fundraises for the American Heart Association by joining the Beach Ride Fundraiser. This means we take our rescue horses to their annual beach ride in November, which is amazing exposure and part of their rehabilitation! 2nd annual trail ride & poker run fundraiser
WHO: Horse owners and horse lovers! That's right, you do not have to own a horse to join us! Check out the "other event details" section for more info and be sure to contact Ride-A-Rescue no later than July 24th.
WHAT: This 4-5 hour trail ride and poker run will span more than 400 acres of scenic trails ending with a hot dog dinner. The ride
will pass through woods, open fields, rolling green hills, and water crossings. You can choose to simply trail ride or you can
participate in our poke run along the way! Prizes will be offered for the best and worst hand!
WHEN:
- The trail ride begins on July 27th at 12 p.m. sharp. Please arrive in plenty of time to present your Coggins paperwork.
- Dinner begins at 5 p.m. and includes hot dogs, chips and beverage. Donations to cover the cost of food are appreciated!

- If you would like to participate but don't own your own horse, you can rent one of our seasoned trail horses for an
additional fee! Available horses are limited, so please contact Ride-A-Rescue no later than July 24th to discuss renting!
Individuals renting a horse from Ride-A-Rescue must follow our guidelines.
- Current Coggins is required and must be presented as soon as you arrive on site for those bringing their own horse(s).
- We ask that those participating pre-register using the form below. This helps us make sure there will be plenty of
parking, food and playing cards!

- $25 per person to participate in the trail ride
- $30 per person to participate in the trail ride and poker run

Mother's day trail rides

WHO: Moms and the people that love them! This includes you too, guys! This celebration ride is not just for women! You can join your mom, wife, sister, aunt, or grandmother on her Mother's Day treat.
WHAT: Mother's Day Celebration on horseback! Let your mom enjoy a childhood dream for Mothers Day!!! WHEN: May 10th 2019 - May 12th 2019 WHERE: 100 High Meadows Parkway, Radford, VA 24141 WHY: To celebrate moms everywhere through spending quality time together on horseback! Come and join Ride-A-Rescue as we are offering a special weekend, allowing the little girl that “wanted a pony” to shine through again. Bring mom out and let her spend some time on horseback like she always wanted to growing up. |
OTHER EVENT DETAILS: We provide the horses, tack, helmets and riding demonstration. You will be joining us for a 1-hour trail ride where you and mom can spend quality time together while enjoying scenic, wonderful views of the New River Valley on horseback. Children under the age of 7 years old are too young to ride on the trail.

Ride-A-Rescue is joining forces with local animal shelters like Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care & Control, Inc. (MCFACC) and Floyd County Humane Society, VA to bring you a fun filled meet & Greet opportunity for you and your whole family! Come out and meet horses, cats, and dogs that are all seeking forever homes and learn more about the organizations who rescue them! There will be food, horseback trail rides, and many opportunities to find your new best friend- no matter how big or how small! Easter Egg HUnt on HOrseback- April 12th-14th 2019

This is one of our most popular activities! Join us Easter weekend for an hour trail ride where you see how many eggs you can spot along the trail (don’t worry you will not be getting on and off your horse). Make sure to keep count of how many eggs you saw because the rider closest to the actual Eggs hidden will win a prize. Have child under the age of 7 and want them to experience an Easter Egg hunt on horse back? Choose the Under 7 year old option for them. This option is available for kids that are too young to ride on the trail rides by themselves (younger than 7 years old). The Easter Egg Hunt on Horseback is only happening April 12th-14th, if bad weather arises reschedule date is April 26th-28th. It's that time of year to enjoy our special Valentine's Day trail ride again!
This fundraiser is a great idea for individuals, couples, and groups- everyone is welcome! 100% of the proceeds this year will go toward the purchase of winter hay. For an incredibly beautiful, romantic, and fun one hour trail ride that includes a BOGO certificate from The Mockingbird Café bag lunch along with a sweet treat and a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling cider and a sweet treat provided by the Williams gang!
All booked trail rides include an instructional demo for riders, safety helmets, a trail guide, and amazing views on horse back! Valentine's Day is a day of love, and we hope you'll come share the love when you help to save a horse, Ride-A-Rescue!

After purchase, the customer has from February 7th until February 17th to redeem their trail ride package. After February 17, 2019 the coupon is valid for its purchase price and may only used toward a trail ride with Ride-A-Rescue Inc. The coupon cannot be applied to any other specials or discounts with Ride-A-Rescue Inc. - Other details:
BOGO coupon is only valid for a bagged lunch, and is not exchangeable for any other options or discounts, and cannot be sold. Coupons must be used prior to the expiration date listed on the coupon (February 23, 2019), and the entire value of the coupon must be redeemed on one visit. The included dessert is baker's choice. - Reservation details:
Reservations are REQUIRED a minimum of 48-hours prior to the desired trail ride time, and ALL cancellations must be made 24-hours in advance! - Inclement weather provision:
We understand that weather may not permit customers to enjoy their purchase. We are pleased to offer rescheduling dates if inclement weather arises. However, your trail ride must ALREADY be scheduled between the dates of February 7-17th to be eligible for rescheduling. - Proof of purchase required:
The order receipt must be shown as proof of purchase prior to your scheduled appointment.
