We offer several services at Winterfrost Farm including English & Western riding lessons, horse leasing, sponsorship, birthday parties and trail rides through our well-known Ride-A-Rescue program.

Lessons

We offer both Western and English riding lessons at our farm. Our indoor arena helps us to facilitate lessons year round, except during the bitter cold days of winter! Miss Sheila is our all-star western instructor who has more than 40 years of riding experience under her belt. Not only is she a great teacher, but she treats every student as if they were her own. Leasing

Are you thinking about adopting a horse but aren't sure you want to make the full commitment yet? We offer a few leasing options with our horses that will give you the opportunity to experience a taste of horse ownership and foster that loving relationship with your horse. Most of our horses are available for lease, with the exception of those which are used regularly for riding lessons. Visit our Leasing page for more information.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Are you looking for a unique birthday experience that your kids and their friends will remember? Consider having their birthday party at our facility! Birthday parties are by appointment only, and must be scheduled one week in advance. Our experienced staff will be present with at least one of our horses for the kids to enjoy. Trail Rides via Ride-A-Rescue

Are you looking to enjoy a nice, casual trail ride while you are visiting the New River Valley? We have over 400 beautiful acres of trails that we use for trail rides throughout the year using our Ride-A-Rescue horses. Along with our variety of trails, we offer 1 hr, 2 hr, or 3 hr trail rides depending upon how long you want to ride. Visit our Ride-A-Rescue page for more information.

sponsorship

If you have limited time or space that makes owning or leasing a horse difficult, sponsorship is a wonderful opportunity that allows you to still make a difference!
