It is extremely important and is the customer's responsibility to read, understand, and abide by all set rules and regulations for Ride-A-Rescue trail rides and events. Please read them carefully and contact us with any questions you may have.
Please note, the below applies to current specials, events, and scheduled trail rides.

Before participating in any ride, a waiver must be filled out and signed. All riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian fill out the waiver for them. Scheduling Restrictions:
All trail rides are by APPOINTMENT only. We request 1-week's notice, and require a minimum of 48-hours notice, prior to the desired trail ride time. Because Ride-A-Rescue is a fully volunteer-based program, we have to coordinate with our volunteers to provide a trail guide for your ride. We do our very best to provide our customers with the requested date and time, but please keep in mind that this is not always possible for our volunteers. Please contact our trail ride coordinator for questions and scheduling.
Cancellation policies:
We require a minimum of 24-hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of trail rides. If the customer(s) do not provide 24-hours notice they will still be charged and will not be able to reschedule their trail ride. We understand that weather will impact trail ride times and availability. If your trail ride is cancelled due to weather by Ride-A-Rescue with less than a 24-hour notice, the customer(s) will be able to reschedule their ride for a later date at no-charge.
Age restrictions:
Special accommodations must be made if there are children under the age of 7. If you have a child under the age of 7 and wish for them to participate in the Ride-A-Rescue experience, we may be able to accommodate this request if we have a sufficient number of available volunteers for the date and time chosen to redeem your trail ride. The accommodation for children under the age of 7 years old is ride time in our indoor arena while the rest of the scheduled group is out on the trail ride. We require the presence of a parent or legal guardian during your child's riding time in the arena. If you have purchased a trail ride with the intent to use it for children under the age of 7, you must contact Ride-A-Rescue to make sure accommodations can be made. We always do our best to make this option available, but we are not able to guarantee its availability since we are 100% volunteer operated.
Cell phone and technology use:
is STRICTLY prohibited and is for the safety of our customers while riding our Ride-A-Rescue horses. This includes, but is not limited to, phone calls, texts, photos, and social media use. Please note, our experienced volunteers are more than happy to take photos upon the customer's request!
Covid-19 Update:
We have set forth some extra safety precautions to help ensure our safety and health as well as your safety and health. We have taken precautions such as wearing masks, limiting group sizes and adding extra cleaning practices into our routine.
A couple other questions that we are asking due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Also, you will be required to wear a face mask while in the barn, loading and unloading on and off the horses since you will be in close proximity to staff and other guests at the farm. If you do not have a face mask available please let us know and we could possibly supply you with one.
