ride-a-rescue at Sinkland's annual pumkin festival

Covid-19 Update:  WE ARE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS! We have set forth some extra safety precautions to help ensure our safety and health as well as yours safety and health.
Due to the federal regulation we are now limiting the size of our trail rides to 6 people or less. Our rides will be private group rides to help minimize exposure to other people, your group will only ride with your group members along with our trail guides.
Your business and support during these hard times are more important than ever!
Come out for some fresh air and stress relief while helping "Save a horse, Ride-A-Rescue"!

Picture
Our Ride-A-Rescue horseback riding program was started to help support our rescue horses as part of their rehabilitation. Ride-A-Rescue trail rides use only healthy, rested rescue horses eager and ready to work. This program is designed to be a fun community activity that provides our rescues with a job and sense of purpose!

We specialize in beginners of all ages, and welcome the opportunity to teach and educate everyone who participates in our Ride-A-Rescue trail rides. We operate year round on weekdays and weekends, and trail rides range from 1-4 hours in duration. Let us know if you want to ride, and we'll get you out on horseback!

All proceeds from our Ride-A-Rescue trail rides go towards the care of horses. An added bonus for everyone involved!

Out on the trail..

you'll ride out along side the pumpkin patch with beautiful views of rolling hills framed by the blue ridge mountains.

Schedule an Appointment

All trail rides are guided, and the cost is $12 for a 20 minute ride. No experience is necessary- we have a horse for everyone! The horses we use for trail rides are gentle and calm, and we provide all riders with a five-minute "lesson" to show them the ropes.
